MICROSIVE
CAREERS // 2025

We hire slowly. We hire well.

Microsive is seven people. We grow by one or two a year, when we have to. If you've made it this far on the site, you probably already know if it's the kind of place you'd like to work.

01 / Why work here

What you actually get.

01

Real autonomy.

We don't have a Jira board you grind tickets out of. You own a project. You talk to the client. You ship the thing.

02

Real money.

Senior engineering / design pay is benchmarked to top-quartile Bangalore product companies. Salary bands are public to the team.

03

Real time off.

24 days a year, plus the entire week between Christmas and New Year. We notice when you don't take it. We will email you.

04

Real Fridays.

Every Friday afternoon is for personal projects, study, or rest. Not standups. Not status meetings. We protect this hard.

05

Real conversations.

1:1s every two weeks. Quarterly written reviews. Annual conversations about what you want next, not what we need from you.

06

Real exit.

If you outgrow us, we'll help you find your next role. Three of our alumni now work at companies we recommended.

Where we're hiring.

Don't see your role?

We hire opportunistically when we meet someone exceptional. If that's you, write us a paragraph about why.

03 / How we hire

Five steps. No whiteboarding.

You apply.

A short form, a CV, and a paragraph about why. We read every one. Reply within 5 business days, even if it's a no.

A 30-minute intro call.

With Rahul or Aanya. No tech screen. We're checking if you and we want to keep talking.

A take-home.

Paid (₹15k flat). 4–6 hours of work, your timeline. A real-shaped problem, not algorithm puzzles.

A working day.

Paid (₹25k flat). You join a real project for one day, pair with two of us, ship something tiny. We both find out if it works.

Decision in 48 hours.

If yes, an offer with everything (salary, ESOPs, bands) up front. If no, written feedback. Always.

04 / What we don't believe in

Things we've opted out of.

Whiteboard interviews
Performance review software
Mandatory standups
Open-plan offices
"Bring your whole self to work"
Unlimited PTO (it never works)
Tech-bro snacks instead of pay

We could be wrong about any of these. We're open to being convinced. We've just never been convinced yet.
